Poconos Activities Near Penn Estates

The Poconos Mountains are one big amusement park with activities scattered throughout the 2400 square miles of the region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Penn estates is located in the more southern tier along Rt I-80 which we call the “Ski region” since all of the major ski resorts are located here. There is a northern region we call the “lake region” which is along Rt I-84 with no major ski resorts, but more and larger lakes.
